I have a 14' x 20' (almost flat) sloped roof covering our outside deck. Southern exposure. Constructed as follows: 2x6 rafters 2' o.c. 2x4 purlins 2' o.c. With standing seam metal panels on top. I want to enclosed a 12' x 16' portion under it. In the spring, and fall I experience condensation. How can I insulate, to handle this problem. I am not worried about R-value, as it will not be heated. Also if I enclose it, how do I keep the purlins, from rotting?
