I am looking to install a continuous run standing seam roof and have been asked: single or double lock.
While research has shown me how they differ, I can't seem to find anything written about one being better or more appropriate than the other.
Thank you in advance for your expertise and time.

I suggest you look for panel profiles that appeal to you. Then talk to the manufacturer of those products and determine if they are approved for your particular application, i.e. weather, roof slope, deck substructure and length of panel run. There are a number of both types that work well when properly used.
