Is there any research papers on the noise that a standing seam roofing system will make? The installation is correct, low clips over 3" VRR with a 24ga. 16" roof panel. The "popping" is caused by thermal expansion of the base metal, but i have not been able to locate any published research papers on this subject. Can you point me in the right direction?
