Good Morning Lowell,
From what I know Alucobond offers insulated panels. That being said we do not work with Alucobond or insulated panels. I hope that helps with your question.
You can go over the existing underlayment with a layer of synthetic will no ill effect.
Thanks Dan. Hmmm ... I do not really have a way of tracking down that particular post. I am sorry. It probably went unanswered because we didn't have an answer. Sorry. Can you remind me of the question or if it's easier, just email me at todd@asktoddmiller.com Thanks!
I am sorry. I would not know what to do other than internet searches and making contacts at various translucent panel manufacturers.
Here are the photos that Clay provided. Can anyone help identify this panel?
What kind of panel roof are you using? There are skylight from Velux that have moldable flashings to them.
I need a new metal roof due to a hail storm. I know the hired roofer plans on utilizing a synthetic underlayment (Rhino Roofing Product U20). Should the asphalt paper, that seems to be in great shape, be removed prior to their new underlayment material? Will there be any chemical reactions due to the asphalt paper and the synthetic underlayment touching each other?
I am located in Santa Fe County area in New Mexico.
working with a contractor on a poorly installed metal roof on a stable-they have integrated skylights that conform with the panel-no curb-we want to use an insulated panel but having a hard time finding a metal company that offers complimenting skylights
There was a previous post about skylights or tin for Pasco buildings I haven't seen a answer
I've contacted over a dozen companies and lumber yards and I cannot find translucent panels with 10" on center ribbing either. Has anyone been successful in finding out who might make these. I've now contacted a couple of plastics companies to see if they have them.
Hi. I am trying to locate either some translucent panels or regular galvanized panels to replace 6 aged fiberglass panels on a building. They are about 11' in length. The owner says he thinks the building was built in the 70's. The panels are 36'' from center of outside rib to center of outside rib. I will try to attach some pictures. He just wants me to delete the translucent panels if possible, but new translucent panels would be okay as well if metal panels are not available. Older salvaged panels would work as well... its not for looks, but for function. If anyone can point me in a direction, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
It doesn't seem to let me upload pictures, but I could email them.
