We are going to install 32' lengths of standing seam metal. The manufacturer is concerned with oil canning. I have installed 60' lengths and I have never had a problem. What caused this and what can I do about it to satisfy my customer if this occurs.

If you have run 60' without any issues, the likelihood of it oil canning at 32' is less than average if you use the same gauge, machine, installation, etc.
