Steel vs Aluminum

Norman, Thanks for the question. The main benefits of steel roof panels is strength, durability and cost.Steel is very strong, long-lasting in most environments and cost effective. The main benefit of aluminum roof panels is increased corrosion resistance. Increased corrosion resistance is only needed in very corrosive environments though. I am not aware of information on the difference in noise between steel and aluminum roof panels. I would expect the difference to be minimal. Regards, David Stermer
