I have a 3 year old metal roof that is leaking very badly. The contractor that installed the roof said it is because of an accumulation of pine needles on the roof. The pine needles do not normally stay long as they slide off. My home owner insurance adjuster said that the screw should be replaced as the rubber had broken down. Help! Can any of this be true?
