I have a metal roof that has faded and snow doesn't slide off like it used to. The house was built in 1998. I have been told that I need to "repaint" it. Want your advise as to what it need to do.

Repainting would be an option. I have never though before heard of this changing the way snow slides. If you repaint pleased realize you will lose any original finish warranty you had.
