I had a new metal roof installed on one of my lower roofs to ease snow removal in Maine. Now I get water spots on the ceiling Sheetrock everything we have thaw. My contractor says it is condensation coming from the ridge line and he needs to cover it up so it isn't exposed to the humid air. Not sure I understand his solution, seems to me I would want more ventilation. Any ideas or help would be most welcome.
