I noticed that some of my distributors are carrying Imported Galvalume. mostly from China & South Korea. I have always been a stickler for U.S. Galvalume only as if I am protecting my customers from inferior products. My biggest fears are that the imported materials although called Galvalume do not meet the standards of U.S. produced Galvalume. Can you please give me your expert opinion, should I be concerned if I use imported?
Thak you,
Troy

Is this a topic that everyone would rather steer clear of ? is their a reason to stay with U.S. Galvalume, should I be concerned about imported? Their must be a knowlegable answer to the question. is imported material from china and south korea a decent product that I can offer my customers.? my competitors don't seem to mind using distributors that only carry imported, are my concerns not worth the trouble I go through sometimes to wait for american made materials?
Thank you,
Troy

As I work primarily with other metals (and I share your passion for US made raw materials) I will open this up for input from my colleagues. I know that many years ago my company bought a couple of loads of foreign metal and the results were not good at all.
