Can you use spray urethane foam on the underside of the roof or roof deck?

I own a 7 year old home in the Philippines that has a Modular Press-formed panels-prepainted roof. The roof is fabricated using steel roof trusses/joists. The area of the roof is approx. 1400 sq ft. The radiated heat is extreme and I desperately need a way of insulating the roof. Can you provide some suggestions that will permit installing from within the attic. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you shoot some pictures of the attic? Is is currently vented? In cooling degree dominated climates, radiant barriers are effective heat rejection tools but they must be used properly and the attic must be vented. If it is not vented, SPF (Spray Polyurethane Foam), as Todd mentioned, is the way to go.
