Does anyone know if aluminum in contact with a galvanized standing seam roof will cause a reaction? This link tends to make me believe that aluminum and galvanized steel are safely compatible:

I am preparing to install this ridge vent:

on a galvanized standing seam roof and want to ensure that the aluminum will not react in any way.
Your experiences?
Thanks,
Jason

First we always recommend that you contact the roofing materialmanufacturer, however there is no reaction between the materials but there is a remote possibility of differing paint finishes recting.
