What style / profile is this roof? Standing seam? Exposed fastener? Shingle? I have lived under several aluminum roofs and never heard thermal movement popping from the inside.

new home construction with a aluminum metal roof over plywood struction with under lament and spray on insulation on the underside of plywood. Inside ceilings haven't been installed yet. currently experiencing popping sounds throughout entire roof. Question is should I install 2 sheet rock ceilings to keep the popping sound from transmitting into the living space?
