It should be possible to clean the roof with pressure washing, apply a primer, and then a top coat by spray or rolling.
You can either buy paint from a name brand paint store and use the system they recommend or go online to purchase air-dry fluoropolymer which will be a lot more costly but have greater durability and color retention.
Repainting will likely void any warranty that may be remaining on the roof.

Hello everyone, hoping to get some insight from you folks! I just purchased a property for a vacation home in Bryson, NC. This area is very popular with vacation rentals and it has a very Rustic/Mountain type vibe to it. My home has a metal roof on it which is in decent condition but the color is just awful and is the biggest stumbling block to my remodel. It doesn't fit the area or decor scheme I have in mind.
What would my options be for this and ranked in order of cheapest versus best solution? I would prefer a paint solution but not sure how viable this is.
