I cant find a replacement metal for this. I have called 20 places and no one has 30 guage (or even 29ga) 20"wide steel sheet or coil.
Considering how many of these roofs are still around, I'm shocked at the lack of resources! But I digress.
Does anyone have a resource for 30 Guage steel? Id be happy to use regular steel and not tern. Has anyone ever used 16oz copper to repair? (because of the similar pliability) (I know, I know, galvanic issues.. but has anyone actually TRIED it)
Id be happy to cut it down to my (20") size from a different size also.
As you can tell, I'm frustrated. I've called rezzibond, (only has 26ga) and I know the maker of tern II is out of business.
I refuse to believe that NO ONE is repairing these roofs. Thanks for any help!!
