Is it possible to add a vapor barrier behind the drywall? This way you can help keep moisture out of the insulation.
We installed faced fiberglass insulation on the second floor under a metal roof. We have about an inch gap between roof and the insulation in most areas. Is that ok or should we add a moisture barrier on the faced insulation before drywall is installed?
Yes, The drywall hasn’t been installed yet only the insulation. Should we put a moisture barrier between the faced insulation and the drywall?
Would you recommend putting plastic over the faced insulation before the drywall is installed?
