It may be as simple as adding an extended drip leg and directing water into the gutters. Raining the gutters may also help. If the water, though, is coming form beneath the metal roof, then that needs to be investigated.

Hello, I have water dripping along my fascia board when it rains. My roof was just recently installed around 8 weeks ago along with new gutters. I know for a fact in one spot I got up on my ladder to check it out and could see my old shingles sticking out underneath from the metal so they definitely didn't bring the metal down far enough there, and I assume its the same un other spots where I can see water dropping off the backside of the gutter.What sort of solution should I be looking for from my contractor when I finally get him to come back out and look at it? I really would like a permanent solution and not just a bandaid on something that's brand new
I have this same problem as the picture above. I had mesh covers over my gutters to stop debris but when the rain ran off the roof, it came down so fast that it just bounced off the covers. Now it comes so fast off the roof that it goes beyond the gutter and then leaks around it. I have 4 inch gutters should I get 6 inch gutters? and what kind of leaf protector shoudl I use that will work with a metal roof?

My roof extends into my gutter and it clearly covers the back side of my gutter. When it rains-the water literally poors off the roof and appears to overshoot the 4 inch gutter. Will a Roof Helmet gutter protector work this kind of roof?
I have this same problem but my roof extends into the gutter and there is a drip edge that extends under neath that prevents it from going behind the gutter.
Would I need to get a 6 inch gutter? I have a 4 inch gutter now and the run off from the roof seems to overshoot my gutter. I would also like to have some type of gutter leaf guard. I removed the one that I had on my gutters because the water came so fast off the metal that it just bounced off. Is the gutter helmet a good product for metal roofs?
