For best performance, there are some air-dry PVDF coatings available. Performance though will still likely not match that of the original finish, especially in terms of fade and chalk. Commercial painting contractors are usually fairly familiar with re-painting metal roofs. Doing so will likely void any product warranty remaining on the roof.

I have always heard that a single gallon is $300 - 350 so that sounds correct or even very reasonable. These are expensive coatings.

Hello,

I have some of NEW Galvalume 26 gauge roofing.
It does not match what we have and would like to paint it.
Would like to hear how well painting has worked for other people, and recommendations for paint.
thanks in advance

I believe PVDF (Kynar, etc...) Is pretty expensive. Didn't spend a ton of time looking, but seemed like $700-$800 range for 5 gallon bucket. Am I looking at the correct stuff?
