Hi there. Are you referring to baffles between the rafters to create / maintain a vented airspace? I think that is a good idea.
I have a metal roof installed on purlins over rafters. There is bubble wrap under the metal and the seams are taped. There is a roof ridge vent and the soffit is vented. I am planning on using fiberglass batts to insulate the roof. Should I use rafter vents under the fiberglass batts? The room is not heated at this time, and there is no ceiling, but may be in the future.
