The panel does need to be pinned in order to keep it from sliding downhill, especially if it is a clip panel. This may be nail hem though. I assume it has been pinned through that left hand area. It is very difficult to screw things into that under eave area. Frankly, if the panel is pinned, most folks would use a quality sealant up under that eave. It likely stays pretty dry up in there plus it is shaded from the UV. You could use a Z and actually fasten it up into the soffit, and seal it in place. If the soffit is to be covered with vinyl or metal, that could work well.

How do you secure the panel under this eave? Can a Z closure go here?

I have an A frame with a tuff rib style metal roof. There is a "dormer" on the side entrance and the valley was installed differently on both sides. Is one of these correct and the other not, or are they both correct? Thank youerror: error error: error uploading 20220415_094551.jpguploading 20220415_094618.jpg
