There should be some sort of closures between the R Panel ribs. In some cases, it may be metal and be sealed in well. Sealed in foam closures would probably work. I would avoid spray foam --just too difficult to control.
I have a 4/12 R panel meeting a flat TPO roof, the TPO roof is large area exposed to high wind from the lake. After a windy storm i had a leak
in the tpo covered porch but it has stayed dry since then even in heavy but not windy rains. it has no foam closures, would it be recommended
to install them at the tpo to metal transistion, or is there anything else i can do like spray foam the r panel ridges?
