Feel free to send images of the ridge vent to me and I will try to provide some input. todd@asktoddmiller.com
After hurricane Ian we had shingles missing so we decided to have it replaced with a standard metal roof. Our home was built in 2015.
After the job was finished I summoned one of the managers regarding warped ridge vent covers. Problem: On every ridge covering there are areas where the leading edge is bent/warped. In placed the leading edge is bent all the way to the underlaying metal.
The manager said it was due to IMPROPER SCEWING. He did not elaborate and has delayed repairing the ridge covers. How did this happen? What was the error?
