This generally would not concern me as a manufacturer. However, my suggestion is to send photos to the manufacturer and request their decision in writing. Will this affect performance and will it impact their warranty coverage.
Thanks. I have emailed direct to you. Chances are the Galvalume has a clear coat on it which could vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Every producer is going to have their own take on this and I encourage you to contact your manufacturer directly. As I mentioned this generally would not concern me but I've not seen it, I do not know details of the product, and I can't really speak on behalf off another company's warranty coverage. I am sorry I can't be more helpful but some things must be answered by the specific manufacturer / supplier / warranty liability holder.
How does scuffing from dirty shoe high foot traffic (red clay) affect the corrosion performance/longevity of my galvalume roof and will this effect the warranty?
Thanks for the reply, but I don’t feel my questions were directly answered. I’m looking for factual product performance information and any warranty concerns regarding the scuffing of unpainted galvalume AZ-55 from dirty high foot traffic.
