I'd suggest having the original installer come back to look at things.
Hi everyone! We got a metal roof approximately 2 years ago. We are looking to install solar panels, and when the gentleman went up on the roof he noticed multiple missing screws. Now I am concerned about leakage, were they ever put in? And if they were what is causing them to pop out after only 2 years? Would you suggest a independent inspector to come out and make sure our roof is correctly installed?
Thank you todd! The original installers came back, stated that the supply company had provided the wrong screws. They are coming back next week to replace all of them on the roof, with longer ones and wider ones. He said at that time he'll be able to assess for any water damage to.
